What to Expect:
This can be done either in the morning or evening around the Buligi game tracks on the Northern bank with a ranger guide. Explore the length of around 120-170km driving through the savannah grasslands, woodland, acacia and riverine vegetation viewing different animals for example: the elephant, lion, herds of buffaloes, jackals, Uganda kob and so many others as well as different bird species. The evening game drives will help you spot leopards at dusk. The idea of moving with a game ranger is that they know different hideouts for different animals.
For the bird watchers, they should involve in both game drives and launch trips to encounter different birdlife including savannah forest birds, water birds and Albertine Rift endemics. The boat cruise at the Nile Lake Albert Delta will give one an opportunity to experience different bird species at the banks including the rare shoe bill. Forest walks are also very rewarding to the bird watchers.
Experience the culture and the lifestyle of the local luos. Relax in the evening as you watch the energetic dancers from Mubako perform. The Boomu women’s group offer accommodation, a craft shop and village tours where you will see the local Luo lifestyle and their daily activities in the rural communities. The village is a cluster of traditional thatched huts, where villagers gather to escape the midday sun under the shade of a large tree. At dusk, the local cultural groups perform at campfire of local lodge, accompanied by the beautiful sound of the “adungu” which is an instrument made of cowhide and twine and the harmonies of different sizes. There are few economic opportunities in this region and the climate makes farming hard, but with the money generated through tourism, the community can buy produce from local markets, pay school fees and other.
Nature walks in in this park are taken at the vast landscapes and varied scenery of Murchison Falls National Park and the surrounding Conservation Area. Walking through Kaniyo Pabidi and Rabongo Forests provide sightings of many primates and birds. Sight the rare shoebill in the guided swamp walks. Visitors who enjoy rigorous exercise may disembark from the walks for the 45 minutes to 1 hour climb to the top of the fall and there after the tourists can walk back to the boat.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked from your Hotel in Kampala and be driven to Murchison Falls National Park. You will take a trip to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Trek. Proceed to Masindi stop for lunch in Masindi town. Take your drive to park. visit the fascinating top of Murchison falls. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Paraa Safari Lodge/Sambiya Safari Lodge, Chobe Safari Lodge and Fort Murchison.
Morning game drives adventure. Afternoon take Boat cruise on River Nile up to bottom of the falls seeing giraffe, lion, elephant, schools of hippos and many bird species like the broad shoe bill stork. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Paraa Safari Lodge/Sambiya Safari Lodge, Chobe Safari Lodge and Fort Murchison.
Depart for Fort Portal Kibale forest National Park. Check in at Kyaninga Lodge, Crater Safari Lodge, Primate Lodge, Chimpanzee Guest House for your dinner and overnight.
On this morning you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. Afternoon visit Bigodi Swamp Eco site sanctuary for more primate and bird watching. Dinner and overnight stay at Kyaninga Lodge, Crater Safari Lodge, Primate Lodge, Chimpanzee Guest House for your dinner and overnight.
On this day you will wake up earlier and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Depending on the time you get there, you either have a game drive in the morning or have a launch Cruise at the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. Check in at Enganzi Lodge, Mweya Safari Camp, Park View Safari Camp and Kyambura George for dinner and overnight stay.
Take a morning game drive, and in the afternoon, take a boat cruise (optional) on Kazinga Channel looking for variety of game and bird watching. Evening will be at Leisure.
After breakfast you will drive to Isaha sector for a game drive and search for rare climbing lions in fig trees and a must to see them on an extra pay of $50 per person, have your lunch in the Jungle and you proceed to bwindi for your dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Community Haven Lodge, Buhoma Lodge, Bwindi Lodge and Gorilla Santuary.
This morning you will report at the park office at 7:30 am to get ready for the Gorilla tracking. Tracking takes 2-6hrs depending on the movement of these great apes. Take with you lunch boxes and all the necessary gears to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive to Kampala to or fly by Aero link be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home. After breakfast drive to Kampala or Entebbe in case your flight falls on this day or you need an overnight stay, arrangements can be done for your hotel reservations and airport transfer on request.
