2 Days Golden Monkey Trekking in Rwanda

This 2 Days Golden Monkey Trekking Safari in Rwanda takes you to Volcanoes National Park well known for Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes and golden monkey trekking in Rwanda. Drive through the unwinding hills in rural areas into the home of endangered shy golden monkeys. Your safari begins from Kigali urban settings in to the village setting of Musanze, this park is a habitat to variety of primate species that you may encounter during your trekking. Day 1:Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will be picked by our guide or company representative, from your hotel accommodation in Kigali or airport in case you arrive with morning flight and head for a city tour to visit the Kigali Genocide memorial ground where over 25000 bodies of victims of genocide were given a descent burial and later have lunch in a local restaurant before being transferred to Musanze – Volcanoes National Park which is roughly a 2 hours drive where you will have dinner and overnight stay

Day 2:Golden Monkey Trek – Kigali

Today after your early morning breakfast, at 7.30 am, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Office of Tourism in Kinigi where you are briefed by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing golden monkey tracking before you head off to the jungle in search for these shy lovely primates. The golden monkey trek can last from an hour to six hours just like gorilla trekking, however not much hectic as the gorilla trekking, though the trek is strenuous but much rewarding at the end. You will be given an hour with the golden monkey to take as many pictures of your choice and later return from your trek, head for lunch in one of the local restaurants, before hitting on the road to find our way back to Kigali and dropped at your hotel or at the Kigali airport to catch up with your evening flight.
