Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive south to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for a lunch break before embarking on your first afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds, buffaloes, lions, zebras, and giraffes, all set against the dramatic backdrop of Kilimanjaro.
In the evening, check into your lodge or camp, enjoy dinner, and relax while taking in the sights and sounds of the bush.

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early morning game drive in Amboseli, enjoy breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a drive of approximately 5–6 hours. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and embark on an afternoon game drive around the flamingo-rich lake and surrounding savanna. Lake Nakuru is famous for its white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species, including pelicans and thousands of flamingos when in season. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and head southwest to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara. The park is home to the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. Enjoy the dramatic savanna landscapes and a sunset game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full-Day Masai Mara Safari
Spend a full day exploring the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Start early to maximize sightings of predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards while the wildlife is most active. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, and continue your afternoon game drive through the rolling plains, riverine forests, and open savannas. This day offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and birdwatching. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi Departure
Begin the day with an optional early morning game drive to catch the last wildlife sightings in the Mara. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and drive back to Nairobi. Stop along the way for scenic photos and lunch. Arrive in Nairobi by the afternoon for airport transfer or hotel drop-off, concluding your memorable 5-day Kenya wildlife safari.
